BLOG Changes

After my last post I started fooling around with the blog design. I wanted a new, refreshing look. I haven't been able to find what I want but while trying different things out I lost my previous design. I am not happy with this template and I am still working on a new one. Very frustrated I lost the last one and that I can't find a new one....need a break then I'll try again.

Celebrating 90 years

Yesterday we celebrated Granny Fox's 90th Birthday (actual birthday next Saturday). Granny is one amazing lady. She might be small in size (just under 5 ft) but she is full of love and kindness. She is a mother of 3, grandmother of 2 and great-grandmother of 4. 90 years of life have treated her well, she looks great and still gets around.

In celebration of her birthday I made her a small "Then and Now" scrapbook. Here is a peak:

MOTIVATED that is. January always starts with promise and high expectations. This year my goal was not to make any resolutions but set obtainable goals. I wanted to make changes that I could stick to. Not sure what happened but I sort of fell off the goal bandwagon before it took off. All I want to do lately is snuggle, chill and curl up in a ball on the couch. I've been watching more TV than usual, been going to bed early and been eating more. I think I need more SUNSHINE, WARMER AIR, OUTDOOR ACTIVITY anything to motivate me.
I'm tired of being stuck in the house, tired of always being cold, tired of bundling up to go outside, tired of having all the windows and doors closed, tired of the early darkness, and just tired of being tired.
Everyday I wake up and tell myself this will be the day I start those goals and get my butt in gear. But so far it hasn't happened.
NO I AM NOT DEPRESSED.....I just want to play outside with the girls, take a nice walk, open my windows, take off the coat and sweaters, enjoy the daylight after dinner, eat dinner on the deck....get the idea????
Spring can't come fast enough!!!!!

January

Celebrating New Year's....the first time the girls stayed up.

Emma learned to ride her bike without training wheels, we remodeled our 1/2 bath and to the demise of our checkbook we had to have the sewer line replaced.

April

Enjoying the warmth in the air and Easter.

Ballet recital (first for Abby), Mother's Day at the National Zoo in DC and Abby turned 4.

June

The beginning of summer.

Fun, sun and sand in Ocean City.

End of summer and Emma is off to Kindergarten.

Football season starts and Emma starts Pre-K.

Emma turns 6, the girls get their haircut and we dress up for Halloween.

Thankful everyday for my family.
